About Us
David De Torres founded Training Four Paws in 2016. David was born in Brazil and spent his formative years surrounded by dogs of all breeds. He has a long history of rehoming and rehabilitating rescue dogs. David is proud to hold a qualification in Dog Training awarded by the National Dog Training Federation of Australia. He is also a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers of Australia. David believes in providing affordable dog training, walking and behaviour solutions for the dogs of the Gold Coast. David lives with his wife, son and his two dogs - Sally (a former rescue dog) and Billy a loveable Groodle. The Training Four Paws hub is situated in the beautiful Bonogin Valley (just a 10 minute drive from the M1 at Robina), on two acres of land that provides the perfect spot for dog training classes.
From its inception Training Four Paws' mission has been to help provide support to dog owners and equip them with the skills, education and understanding with which to help their dogs achieve their full potential. Our aim is to create calm, balanced and contented dogs who will enhance and enrich the lives of their owners and families. By helping dogs succeed and live in harmony with kind, knowledgeable and loving families we aim to keep as many dogs from being surrendered to animal rehoming shelters as we possibly can.
Training Four Paws' vision is to work alongside our clients and their dogs to achieve the goals they wish for their family and their dog. We work with compassion, understanding, and patience in partnership with our clients. We are humbled by the trust placed in us and will always strive to go that extra mile in order to achieve results.
Our regular free community dog walks are just one of the ways we show our appreciation to our community of amazing dog owners. We believe in creating and fostering a community of dog lovers and anyone is welcome to join us on these regular walks. Please follow us on Facebook and look out for information on upcoming events.
